Who is Jesus?

One must

that the Lord
He is God in Heaven above,
and upon the earth beneath;
there is none else.

shall be with child,
and shall bring forth
a Son,
and they shall call
His name Emmanuel,
which being
interpreted

The Book of Matthew 1:23

For ye know
the grace
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
that though He was rich,
yet for your sakes
He became poor,
and that ye,
through His poverty,
might be rich.

The Apostle Paul
in the book of
      2nd Corinthians 8:9

Why is knowing Jesus so important?

So we can come into a right relationship with God.

So we can have fellowship with the living God.

So we can seek to know God's plan for our life.

So we can receive God's reward after this life.

So we can have life after death in Heaven with God.

These are the riches
you receive
                         through Christ Jesus.

"For My thoughts
are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways
My ways,"
                    saith the Lord.

As for God, His way is perfect

"For God
so loved
the world
that He gave
His only begotten Son
that whosoever
believes
in Him
should not perish
but
have
everlasting life."
The Book of John 3:16

Just before
Jesus was betrayed by Judas,
arrested and tried,
Jesus lifted His eyes to Heaven
and said . . .

"Father, the hour is come;
glorify Thy Son,
that Thy Son also may glorify Thee:

"I have glorified Thee on the earth:
I have finished the work
which Thou gavest Me to do.

"And now, O Father, glorify Thou Me
with Thine Own Self
with the glory which I had
with Thee before the world was."
The Book of John 17:1, 4-5

But first, Jesus had to suffer crucifixion

         Jesus had to become
                 the perfect acceptable sacrifice
                         to God
for the sins of all mankind.

The Crucified Christ
Sketch by Joshua Moldovan

He humbled Himself
and became
obedient to death,

and My burden is light."
